Summary: Disburse the equivalent of 100,000 EUR over 4 months (September to December) to Mithras Labs in order to maintain the Quest protocol and expand it to new markets.
Context:
Mithras Labs has been developing the Paladin Ecosystem (Paladin Lending, Boost / Pledge / Quest v1/v2, Warlord, Dullahan and Valkyrie) for three and a half years. Now that our company has been fully paid back, we can officially request becoming a Service Provider for Paladin.
Rationale:
Considering revenue stagnating this year, we are maintaining our efforts on dialing down expenses by another 25% in order to facilitate revenue sharing and helping Paladin grow back to a sensible valuation.
Our services as a Paladin Service Provider include:
- Expanding Quest markets;
- Maintaining Quest and Warlord;
- Preparing a brand update;
- Sun-setting Paladin Lending;
- Doing Quest BD;
- Finalizing the governance update vote in PGM-XX;
- Managing community updates (Discord, Discourse and X);
The total cost to run this operation is 40% higher than our ask, but we are able to cover the spread thanks to the auto-voter earning a bit of revenue and a grant awarded us to build a Quest iteration to another protocol (the protocol and its fees will remain entirely controlled by Paladin).
