PIR-5: Whitelist Threshold and Aave $GHO Gauges for Curve and Balancer Quests under the Vote Flywheel

Summary:
This proposal seeks to whitelist specific Threshold and Aave $GHO gauges in the Vote Flywheel Tokenomic. By doing so, we aim to align these trusted and consistently active Gauges inside Quest with the Vote Flywheel, enhancing the effectiveness and reach of our tokenomics system.

Rationale:
With the integration of the Vote Flywheel, it becomes crucial to include trusted and loyal partners, such as Threshold, into our whitelisting system. The consistent activity and reliability of these Gauges make them ideal candidates for alignment with our Vote Flywheel. Similarly, whitelisting Aave’s $GHO gauges furthers our goal to include reputable and high-impact protocols, thereby solidifying our ecosystem’s core.

Note: We encourage users to reallocate their hPAL votes from stagnant Gauge, like Bunni, to more active pools such as those on the CVX (Curve) and AURA (Balancer) markets. By doing so, the Paladin’s auto-voter can better prioritize Quests over competitors because of enhanced yield offers for voting by the Tokenomic 2.0.

Note 2: We also recommend that $hPAL lockers delegate their boost power to Paladin’s auto-voter when simultaneously delegating vlAURA/vlCVX. This strategy allows participants to fully capitalize on the new tokenomics ecosystem.
